Amazon Layaway is HERE for PRIME DAY!
Hey Friends!
Remember the day’s of K Mart where you could just shop and take your items to the clerk and set up layaway? Well we might not have K Mart anymore but Amazon has you covered! When you shop Amazon you can now shop and opt in for layaway payment. And with Prime day going on you CAN get layaway with the sale items.
I’m going to show you how you what to do to get this started step by step.
STEP 1:
First thing’s first. Once you’ve found your item, you want to look under the price and savings and you will see “or $xx”. Usually this is where “Affirm” option is at. If it’s stating “Select from 2 plans” you want to click/tap that button.
If you see Amazon as an option you will want to select it. This is their layaway program. Click/tap select then proceed to add that item to your cart
Step 2:
Go to your cart and verify that layaway is marked. This is important that this box is checked because it can affect your price when you start your checkout process.
Step 3:
Once your ready to checkout at the bottom of your screen you will see your order total and what will be due at checkout. Place your order as normal. With Amazon Layaway there will be 2 bi-weekly payments that will come out of your account each month. When you click the "Place your order" button, Amazon will send you an email message acknowledging receipt of your order. Your contract to purchase an item will not be complete until we send you an email notifying you that the item has been shipped.
So like K Mart, you will make payments on your layaway but you will be able to do this with out having to go into a store.
