Make Christmas Decor into Halloween Decor

Hey guys! I know we put out a Christmas sale for Dollar General and we are all just trying to make it through back-to-school and Halloween. So how can we take advantage of Christmas sale items that are starting to pop up at the DG or other stores for that matter? Well keep reading on for some ideas that we have come across on Pinterest, Facebook Halloween and Fall pages and the internet. Some of these ideas have been done by family and friends of Roll Out Savings also.

So you got a great deal on a Christmas tree last year for clearance and you already have one, but don’t want this one to collect dust, or maybe you see some great prices on one right now, but unsure if you should grab it?

Well no fear, we have an idea that you may like! Even if you aren’t that crafty, this project/transformation of a Christmas tree can be done quite easily.

One option is to spray paint the Christmas tree orange, black or your choosing and decorate it with skulls, pumpkins and ghosts. Another option would be to leave it green but add orange black and white, green an purple or some combination that you like for your Halloween decor to change it up. Hey you can also make it spooky by leaving it green and adding in some webbing to make it look covered by cobwebs/spider webs an add spiders to it.

Check out these ideas that we have found on Pinterest and throughout the web.

As you can see the creators of the above items have definitely thought outside of the box. Pinterest and fall/Halloween groups on Facebook are a great source of inspiration when you are on a budget or want something different.

I hope you liked this post, I know it’s a little different but I thought it would be fun.

Happy creating and crafting!
